Alinda Martin Team earns Top Prudential Award

HOUSTON, TX – November 6, 2009 – Prudential Gary Greene, Realtor’s Friendswood office has a winning group with The Alinda Martin Team. Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. recently awarded the team first place for closing the most residential units in Texas for the second quarter.

Alinda and her family, many of whom work in the business, have lived in the area for 30 years and have developed a reputation for being exceptionally dependable.

 

“We market to our past customers very heavily, so we get a lot of repeat business,” said Alinda. “We try to give everyone 100 percent.” The Alinda Martin Team has become a family business with Alinda’s husband, John Martin, Jr., son, John Martin, III and son-in-law, Neal Green, all joining the award-winning group.

 

“The three of them handle most of the property calls and take care of the buyer calls that come in off the listings and from past customers,” Alinda said. “We also stay very busy listing properties and marketing them to get the quickest sale possible.”

 

Pam Baker, a licensed assistant, completes the team, handling all the listings and transactions from contract to closing, putting available homes into the computer and fact-checking information as well as ensuring deals close on time and following up with mortgage companies.

 

Alinda and her family have spent their lives as entrepreneurs. She received her real estate license more than 30 years ago and her husband, John, Jr., has worked as a broker for more than 40 years. Alinda decided to go into real estate full time once her children were grown, starting the business on her own. Soon she added an assistant, and then her son joined her as the business grew. In the last five years, her husband and son-in-law have joined the group.

 

Linda Sheinall, the Friendswood office manager, said the team’s success is attributable to always supplying extraordinary service. “They have a continued commitment to customer service that brings customers back time and time again,” she said.
